Low-friction Delrin and stainless steel spring seats that allow the springs to spin without getting into coil bind and resulting in popping or thunking noises, especially when turning. These are sized for 2.25" ID springs.
The two ends of a compressing coil spring will rotate relative to each other. Without a bearing surface allowing this rotation (or the steering motion on a strut front car), your springs will bind making for notchy and noisy steering on the front, and loosening perches in the rear.
We also offer Torrington needle bearings that have less friction and move more freely than these Thrust Sheets. However, bearings require some maintenance whereas the Thrust Sheets are maintenance-free and less expensive.
Includes 2 x Delrin rings and 2 stainless steel rings to cover 2 springs (1 axle set).
