The radiator used on E82/E9X N51 SULEV models contains an Environmental Air Catalyst sensor that BMW does not sell separately. This sensor is part of the SULEV emissions equipment on N51-powered 128i and 328i models. As many owners have found out, BMW simply will not sell the replacement sensor alone. This URO Parts EAC sensor is a cost-effective solution, saving you from buying a complete radiator just to fix a bad sensor.
This part is listed as part number 17117537292R and is described as URO Parts EAC (Environmental Air Catalyst) Sensor for BMW E82/E88 128i N51 SULEV (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) and E90/E92/E93 328i N51 SULEV (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013). The engine code on these SULEV engines is N51B30A, which all came with 6-speed automatic transmissions.
