This package includes the radiator and associated hoses for 2007-2010 E82 135i and E9X 335i models with automatic transmission.

Avoiding a blown radiator and overheating is one of the best ways to ensure long life for your N54 engine. We find a preventative approach is best on the E9X cooling system. If one critical part fails (like your radiator) it will likely shorten the lifespan of the other related items, and the labor to change one or two critical cooling components is nearly the same to overhaul the entire cooling system. All parts in this kit are from OEM suppliers with a two year warranty.

This package includes the primary hoses attached to the radiator. We advise replacing hoses whenever possible because the o-ring inside is the most common source of leaks when hoses are re-used. With the radiator and hoses together you can ensure all connected parts are new and fresh. There are more hoses in the cooling system but we had to draw the line somewhere. Other items like the thermostat, electric water pump, and other hoses can also be replaced depending on the scope of your project. Coolant is also sold separately but adds shipping cost.

Top Tip: inspect the area below the valve cover and above the belt for signs of a coolant leak. A plastic flange running from the top of the cylinder head to the thermostat is a common source of coolant leaks. Coolant leaking onto the belt is a major problem! If your plastic flange is leaking an aluminum replacement is available (see Related Items below).
