This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 17117548104 (17 11 7 548 104) and is described as the cooling hose connector on the bottom of the radiator for E82 135i, E9X 335i, E84 X1 35i, E89 Z4 35i Automatic models. This connector is part of the bypass cooling circuit used to supply cool coolant to the engine supply pipe and onto the turbos. It may also be known as the low temp cooling module. It's a press fit to the bottom of the radiator and includes a new o-ring to prevent leaks.
