Hose Clamp for Steering Rack Boot, D=64.8-68.0 - E46 E85 - 32111095897

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 32111095897 (32 11 1 095 897) and is described as Hose Clamp for Inner Steering Rack Boot. This Oetiker-style hose clamp has an operating diameter of 64.8mm to 68.0, and was used on the non-M / RWD model E46 and E85 Z4 models. 

Sold individually. Be sure to order enough for your repair. There are normally two of these per car / per steering rack – One on the inner left side, and one on the inner right side. 

This style steering rack boot clamp is generally not reusable. Once you crimp it down, it's hard (and not advisable) to reuse them. If you are removing your steering rack, steering rack boots, or servicing tie rods, you will probably want to have a couple of these on hand. The work by setting the rough diameter (with the square alignment holes) and then crimping the protruding portion to tighten it into position. This one-time crimp is what makes this an Oetiker-style clamp, which work very well for a tight seal but should be replaced anytime they are removed.
