Front Upper Spring Perch - E30, E36, E36 M3 95, E28, E34 525i, E32, X3, Z3, Z4

Spring perches sit above the spring and under the front strut mount. The rubber spring pad fits with the perch. Since spring perches are metal they don't see a lot of wear but they get a lot of abuse from sand and salt so they rust easily. They also get the full force of the spring pressure. If yours are rusty or old it's not a bad idea to replace them along with the rubber pad for peace of mind.
