Centered control arm bushings are found on the majority of E30, E36, and Z3 cars (except E30 M3 and 1995 M3). But most non-M models have a webbed rubber construction with gaps around the bushing. This makes it more comfortable and pliable for street driving. But the 96-99 M3 had solid rubber centered bushings and these are direct replacement and upgrade over the centered webbed bushing. The solid rubber deflect less which means the alignment and steering stays more consistent. This is better steering feel and response with a simple bushing change. As an added benefit the bushings last longer thanks to less deflection.
Offset bushings are also available for an even bigger change in steering feel. Urethane bushings also make a big upgrade over stock rubber. Price is for the pair.
This is an OEM bushing set manufactured by Lemforder - the original supplier to BMW for this part, as well as many other suspension bushings and mounts. It has a two year warranty.
