The 1997-2010 E39, E60, E63, and E65 suffer from excessive rear camber alignment that wears the inside edge of the rear tires. The problem is only made worse by sagging springs or worn-out suspension bushings that allow too much variance in the rear alignment. By correcting the camber to a less-aggressive setting you can save money and greatly prolong the life of your rear tires.
These two bushings replace the bushings in the upper Guide Link and Wishbone in the rear suspension. This kit is sold per side so order 2 to replace both sides of the car. They feature an eccentric washer that will rotate the arm position so you can set camber or toe alignment. Both camber and toe have a +/- 1.25° adjustment range. The rubber bushings are just like OEM bushings so ride quality and comfort are unchanged. They come with a limited lifetime warranty.
Note: altering alignment settings will change handling behavior and may decrease cornering grip during extreme maneuvers. Going to positive camber is never recommended. Consult with your alignment specialist on the best settings to use and always adjust to the safest setting.
Make sure you order 2 to cover both sides of the vehicle.
