Front Shock Protection Boot, Rein - E82, E9X, E60, E63, E85, E89

This part is manufactured by Rein (CRP) Automotive - an original supplier to BMW for many various BMW parts. As an OEM Rein strives to meet all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements. 

If you are doing any work involving the front struts/shocks/springs on any of the below listed BMW chassis/models, we high recommend replacing this protection boot - especially if either of yours are cracked, broken, or missing. Because of the collapsible / expandable accordion design of this shock protection boot, it is moving and flexing frequently. With time, age, miles, heat, and repeated cycles, your original shock protection boot will break down and begin to fail. This is a perfect preventative or "while you are in there" item for any front suspension overhaul work. 

Sold individually, so be sure to order two if you are replacing both front dust / protection boots. 

OEM-type parts are the best alternative to more expensive Original BMW parts because they are virtually identical without the inflated price tag. This part has a two year warranty.
