Ground Control Street Camber/Caster Plates for your E46 M3 are based on their race-proven designs but with special features to optimize them for street-use. This is not a racing mount, loosely adapted for the street. Features and goals differ between Street and Race designs. Ground Control properly engineers each kit for its intended use and the E46 M3 camber plate is mounted at an angle to keep the strut properly aligned for its range of motion. The Street design includes almost 2° of camber adjustment range so you can improve performance but also correct for lowered suspensions. Both camber and caster can be adjusted independently to correct or dial in alignment settings. A urethane bushing isolates the bearing to absorb noise, vibration, and harshness much better than a solid metal design. Ground Control parts are covered with a limited lifetime warranty.
A Ground Control exclusive is the use of two separate bearings to manage load instead of the more typical single spherical. The strut shaft is supported by a proprietary spherical bearing. This supports the strut during side loads and range of motion only. The weight of the car is supported by another, separate needle bearing made specifically for Ground Control with an incredibly high axial rating of 12,100lbs. The two bearing layout greatly reduces the load and strain that a single bearing must support, which means less wear, longer life, quieter operation, and better performance.

Select your spring size and shock type from the menus above. The correct bearings, spacers, and hardware will be built into the camber plate for you. Ground Control applications cover all common spring sizes and many popular stock, performance, and racing dampers.
Spring Sizes: 2.25", 60mm (2.3"), 2.5", or any spring that uses the stock upper spring plate including sport/lowering springs. Most off-the-shelf street coil over kits use a stock-sized spring, including Bilstein PSS, KW, H&R, etc. Track/Race dampers are built with either 2.25", 60mm, or 2.50" springs.
