These Ground Control Camber/Caster Plates are specially designed for club racing classes where slotting or modifying strut towers is not allowed, such as SCCA Street Prepared class. This rule limitation necessitated a new camber plate design.
The "Prepared Class" camber/caster plates are a clean-sheet design. These are slotted for independent adjustment of both camber and caster. Camber is still adjusted by loosening the 3 top hex nuts on top of the strut tower. Unlike other camber plates, these have the caster adjustment bolts recessed into the top of the camber plate so they clear the sheetmetal. Up to 3.5° of negative camber can be set when used with coil over springs. The perfect amount of adjustability for to fine tune your handling for individual tracks based on tire temperatures and other data.
