Plastic Intake Expanding Rivet - E46, E9X, E53, E70, E71, E85/E86

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 51471919209 (51 47 1 919 209) and is described as the plastic push rivet, or Expanding Rivet, used most often to secure plastic intake ducting to the cowl, radiator support, or airbox on E46, E90, E92, E53 X5, E70 X5, E71 X6, and E85/E86 Z4 models. These rivets have a tendency to snap or fly off to the nether regions of your engine bay. It may also be used in other parts as well, such as interior or convertible top tim.
