We have found that over-filling the DCT transmission by 1 liter will ensure proper shifting when on track. Even at the proper factory level, the higher g forces on track can prevent sufficient oil circulation inside the transmission, leading to slow shifts, mis-shifts, and transmission fault codes - something we have experienced first-hand in street and full-race M3/M4 cars.

This dry-break fill system is borrowed from the factory GT4 design. Overfilling on the side of the transmission is almost impossible as the fluid trickles out when overfilled. This dry-break allows you to pump in an extra quart of DCTF and then quickly close the valve when complete. You must still follow the factory fill/level procedure using the factory diagnostic tools (ISTA, Rheinegold, etc). It's crucial to have the correct oil level before adding any additional fluid. And it's crucial to have a precise measurement of extra fluid - 1 quart = 0.95 liter.
This is an easy, must-have addition to your M2/M3/M4 track car build. No modification is required - the banjo fitting is the correct size for the DCT transmission. The plug uses a 8AN barbed fitting so you can likely connect your favorite fill pump and tubing with ease.
