Mechanical Belt Tensioner & Pulleys - N55 - E82 E90 E92 E93 (2011-2013)

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11287582946 (11 28 7 582 946) and is described as Mechanical Belt Tensioner (and the tensioner idler pulleys) for the N55 "TwinPower" single turbo engines found in the 2011-2013 "E chassis" BMWs, such as the 2011 model 335i & 335xi 4 door sedan, the 2011-2013 335i & 335xi 2 door coupe/convertible, the 2011-2013 E82 135i and 135is and the first generation BMW X1 35i xDrive. 

If you are servicing the serpentine belt system on the N55 powered BMWs, which drives the alternator, AC and power steering, you'll want a fresh mechanical belt tensioner. This is to assure the new drive belt maintains proper tension, preventing premature failure, belt slipping, or other problems that can leave your 3.0 liter single turbo engine on the side of the road. A new tensioner includes the pulleys, which can also be used to cure noisy / squeaky belt noises caused by old and worn idler pulleys. 

ONLY for cars with the N55 single-turbo engine (2011+). NOT for cars before 2011 or with the twin turbo engine. This part is only found on 2011, 2012 and 2013 model years, and only earlier "e chassis" models.
