This set of 3 original BMW o-ring gaskets are used for sealing the engine oil cooler (heat exchanger) to the engine block on N63B, N63M, and N63R V8 engines.
The oil cooler on your G30 M550i, G12 750i/750Li, G14/G15/G16 M840i, G05 X5 50i/M50i, G06 X6 M50i, or G07 X7 50i/M50i is located on top of the engine block, and this heat exchanger uses engine coolant to cool the engine oil.
