The placement of the cooler made is susceptible to rocks and debris that can create leaks. The CSF M5/M6 oil cooler is a fresh, ground-up design with a beefier and better protected fitting block for the stock oil hard lines. They also increased the core capacity by 40% and thickness by 18mm. The core is now a bar-and-plate design for better durability in that exposed location and handling of heat soak.

The CSF Oil cooler for E60 M5 and E63/E34 M6 is the latest cooling solution available for the oil system on the S85 engine. Manufactured utilizing the latest in technology, the CSF S85 oil cooler offers superior cooling capacity and volume for the oil system. TIG welded end tanks round out the slew of upgrades creating a much stronger connection than the factory brazed construction.

All CSF radiators receive design and development in the USA with additional wind tunnel, vibration, thermal cycle, burst pressure, and salt spray testing done at their production facilities in Southeast Asia. During manufacturing, radiators are individually tested for leaks and receive a 30-point inspection prior to shipping. This part is a much higher level of quality than typical Chinese factory parts. CSF is an OE supplier to several manufacturers as well as providing private-label products for other radiator brands. CSF radiators have a two year warranty.
