Our E46 M3 water pumps includes the profile gasket but there are other seals for parts that are attached to the water pump that should also be replaced. This little package of OEM/Genuine BMW o-rings will include the seals you need so you won't be left with an annoying leak afterwards. Removing the water pump or thermostat on the S54 may require the removal or adjusting of other components of the cooling system. Even nudging something out of the way is enough to break the seal and cause an irritating leak later on. And you should never re-use seals or o-rings since they deform over time, and especially when new seals are inexpensive.
Our water pump/thermostat o-ring set includes -
- 11531318402, thermostat > water pump seal x 1
- 11537830709, thermostat coolant pipe inner and outer x 2 (you may only need 1)
- 11537830712, coolant pipe o-rings x 2
These are all OEM or Genuine BMW seals, because quality counts! This set can also be used during a thermostat replacement, although not all of the seals will be used.
Fitment note: due to differences in hose routing on the MZ3 and Z4M, one of the coolant pipe o-rings will not be needed.
