Important Note: the radiator used only on 2016 models has a special ozone-reducing coating (PremAir) and a sensor to evaluate the condition of the coating. This is the OE replacement radiator with the coating and the sensor. The sensor is not available separately. The 2017+ models did not have the sensor or coating. It's also possible that BMW removed the sensor requirement for 2016 models with a software update in 2018. If you have a fault code for the PremAir or EAC sensor don't assume that you need a new sensor or radiator. See your BMW dealer and they can likely update your software with a newer version that might fix the issue.
