This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 17111709347 (17 11 1 709 347) and is described as the black plastic upper radiator bracket (aka Holder) used on E30 318i, 318is (1991), E30 325e, 325es, 325i, 325is, 325ix Coupe/Sedan (1988, 1989, 1990, 1991) and E30 318i, 325i Convertible (1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993).

This part is also used to convert the 1987 cooling system to the late 1988 E30 cooling system, which also requires the radiator, expansion tank, and additional hoses.
