In addition to the plastic reservoir tank this kit also includes a new cap and new level sensor. The cap is more important to cooling performance than most people realize. It regulates pressure within the system, maintaining internal pressure and allowing excess pressure to vent. It's suggested to replace the cap every four years to ensure correct pressure.
