Water Pump & Thermostat Package, Metal - E46, E39 6cyl 99+, X3, X5, Z4

Need to replace the water pump and thermostat on your 1999-2006 six-cylinder BMW? This package is what you need for replacement parts with upgrades that make them more durable than the original stock pieces. Included with our package is -

• OEM Graf water pump with metal impeller (#11517509985)
• Aluminum water pump pulley (replaces plastic), (#11511436590)
• OEM Wahler thermostat (#11537509227)
• Mounting gasket and o-ring

Please note, this water pump and thermostat package is for BMW models with the M52TU (technical update) and M54 engines ONLY. It will not work on cars before 1999 model year, or with an engine other than the M52TU / M54 platform. 

We've made the coolant optional in case it's cheaper for you to buy it locally (and save on shipping). We don't believe in forcing you to buy a bigger package when all you need is the basics.

Our package does away with as much of the original plastic parts as possible, especially the water pump pulley. The original plastic pulley is known to weaken and become brittle over time. If it fails it will take out the engine fan, hoses, and probably the radiator too. We strongly recommend tossing it in the garbage and using this aluminum pulley instead. It's the same size as the stock one (not an underdrive pulley) and light weight. New belts are also recommended and you can add them to your order below.

The water pump included in this package is made by an OEM supplier to BMW. Instead of a plastic or composite impeller, this uses metal. Some very early cars had problems with the plastic water pump impellers and the metal design took away all fears of water pump failure.

All of these parts come with a two year warranty.
