Rear Brake Pad Sensor, OEM - F01 F02 7-Series (2009-2016)

The brake pad wear sensor is a key safety component that allows worry-free driving without the need for constant visual inspection of your brake pad material. Once the brake lining dash light is illuminated on your dash, this is a warning of thin brake pad material. Pads should be replaced as soon as possible, and the sensor is a required replacement once the brake lining dash has come on.

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 34356791960 (34-35-6-791-960) and is described as Bowa OEM Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor for BMW F01 740i, 750i  (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 201, 2015, 2016) and F02 740Li, 750Li, 760Li (2009-2016).

TECH NOTE: On a majority of applications the brake lining light can be reset easily by installing a new sensor and turning the ignition to the second position (without starting the car) for approximately one minute - or until the light goes out. Refer to your Bentley service manual for further instruction if this method doesn't work.
