Genuine BMW Exterior Mirror Right (LHD) for 2002/2002tii - 51161822076

This is the right side (passenger side) exterior rearview mirror for the classic/vintage BMW 2002 and 2002tii models, which includes other '02 models like the 1600, 1602 and more as produced for model years 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, and 1976. 

This Genuine BMW mirror is listed by BMW as BMW part number 51161822076 (51 16 1 822 076) and is described as Genuine BMW Exterior Mirror Right (LHD). The "LHD" refers to it being for left hand drive models, based on the shape and magnification of the glass. 

Many BMW 2002 models do not have a right side / passenger mirror, as on these classic models they were considered not essential. Owners often add them to complete the look as well as improve the right side visibility (particular for blind spot assistance). This mirror assembly can be used to either replace an existing right side mirror, as well as add one if one does not exist (required drilling mounting holes on the door). This mirror is often referred to as a "wing mirror" or side-view / sideview mirror.
