I have been training for the One Lap all week - all month actually, by getting no sleep, trying to slam way to much work into way too little time. It is 6:15 in the AM and I am just about done for the night, ready to pack, and then to catch my 9:40 flight to IN (reminds me - check weather and leave bulky clothes at home if possible!)

Since the inception of this stellar idea, we have been prepping equipment and ourselves. I have visited 5 of the tracks we will be driving on in the last month - kind of a starter One Lap, but I cheated and flew some. The process, combined with a regular race schedule, means I have been in the office about 8 days last month and looking for a similar performance in May due to the OLOA trip and UT and Lime Rock races the two weekends after. Does the fun ever stop?

IPod almost done synching with the new stuff I loaded for the trip. Now if Alex and Vic had just remembered to bring that other little required piece of electronics gadgetry - the V1... I am told it will arrive Saturday. Until then, I Vic is happy to drive over 100 on the way up last night flying blind.
