Road America. The chunky little postal worker of tracks for me. The first time I was there I was in a Miata in which the exhaust came off halfway through the raceand dumped CO in the car to the point I had to go to medical. The trip before last in World Challenge I flipped my car in the gravel trap in Turn 1, put it in a tire wall when a suspension arm broke, and then flipped again in T1 in the last lap of the race when another suspension failure ocurred (from 3rd position). Last time, yet ANOTHER suspension failure - broken bolt sent me into the wall on the inside of T1 - variety...
As I was telling Alex (proud owner of our 135) my accounts, he stressed the comment made in the driver's meeting earlier - "this is an 8/10ths event - don't push too hard". Wierd. But 8/10ths doesn't cut it. No pressure, but after Vic's morning performance, it is time for me to lay it down and I am going to err more on the 11 side of 10... With any luck, bad luck comes in threes and we will be driving away from Road America on our own four wheels!

8/10th is Brock's way of saying, don't go wad it up on the first lap. I think he uses that phrase alot as he reaches the all remaining cars group....
Good luck guys
