This morning I put the 135i in 5th place in the rain - awesome!! Moved us back up to 9th overall and with a rainy PM session, we were planning to move up even more, especially on the short course that took away some of the HP advantages of the other cars in front of us.
Alex and I pose for a picture commemorating the event. This is about the point that the decision is made to reach down from the heavens and smack me - the NFL calls this a celebration penalty.
This PM - I spin it in 1 and blaze through the grass sideways to stop in a little marsh that has formed due to the weather. And since I can't get out, the session is finally red flagged when someone realizes the little blue car is missing. Causing a red flag = DNF = no points = poor, poor showing.
I hang my head in shame, we pack up the car as quickly as possible, and head to No Problem Raceway in LA where I hope to start what I will call my Run to Redemption.
Video will follow shortly, I will throw a link up.

ouch.....
back on the horse, cowboy!! :)
you guys can do it; do we need to send another round of BBQ from KC?
We noticed you as soon as you went off course! It just took a while for control to tell us what to do. It's a shame, you were doing well out there!

What tires are you guys running? Do you have to run the same tires for the entire trip? CMP is perfect for the 1 so DOMINATION is the new word of the day!
Dan - check the build list and yes I believe they're limited to one set of tires (and spare) for the event.
